3 months
We had a busy month with bike rides, parks and pool time and Uncle Mark and Aunt Shelly and all the cousins coming out here to HB to visit us. Matt even put Z under water for the first time and she didn't even cry. She even fell asleep being held in the water. Z has started to laugh out loud now and smiles at everyone. LJ will be starting 5th grade at the end of the month and that means I have to go back to work, but the blessing is that I get to keep Z with me all day.
2 months
Z is growing so fast and is already cooing, babbling and started to giggle a little. She sure loves her big brother and he is so good with her. We have been to the beach and celebrated her first 4th of July.
Z is sleeping very well at night and will sleep 7-8 hours straight before her next feeding. She takes 3 two hour naps during the day and enjoys being outside. What a great addition she has been to our family and we still look at her with such awe, so thankful to the Father who blessed us with this little miracle.
Day Trip
We went for a little day trip to Santa Monica. It has become one of our favorite spots to go and walk around that isn't too far from us. Here are just a few pics of our day.

Good 'Ol post delivery In N Out!
She's finally here! Well, my water broke a little after 5 am Sunday the 15th. I was in bed and it was such a funny feeling, and I continued to leak for several hours afterwards. With Luke, my mid wife broke my water so this was a whole new experience for me. We arrived at the hospital about 30 minutes after my water broke and we just waited and waited. The nurse wanted to test my water to see if my water REALLY did break and so they had me put on a "diaper" and walk around for an hour. So we did and I kept leaking and so after the hour they were able to confirm that my water broke...HAHA!!! Well, my contractions just got stronger and stronger and I was very ready for my epidural! Overall it was pretty uneventful, just trying to rest and hanging out with Marcee, April and Alex who came to visit.
Next thing I know I'm fully dilated and ready to see our baby girl! The nurse said that only pushed for 3 minutes and then she was out. She was born at 4:46 pm less that 10 hours after I arrived at the hospital. She was crying before her feet came out, so Z got a very good Apgar score of 9.9. She is absolutely perfect with a full head of hair.
Thank you Lord for this long awaited miracle!
Baby Shower #1
Had such a wonderful shower with all my friends! My friend Cindy hosted my shower in her home and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day.
I was so blessed and I can't wait to see this precious baby girl!
6 months
Wow, 6 months already. I thought it would take forever to reach this point in my pregnancy. I absolutely love being pregnant and feeling her move more and more. It is such an amazing feeling, even though it sometimes keeps me up at night. God is blessing us beyond what we every imagined and we continue to look forward to see where He takes us. Luke is getting more excited about having a sister and I'm getting used to having a little pink and purple around. Not my favorite colors, but I know I can't avoid them. HAHA!
My last day of work will be here before I know, so at this time I have a lot of work to do to plan the last seven weeks of lesson plans. I still have my yearbook coming in after the birth, so I will find myself back on campus to do the last of my Yearbook requirements. I will miss all my
"other kids" here on campus, but excited for the time off.
Christmas 2011
Christmas this year was not as eventful as lasts, we were going to have a repeat of it by returning to our favorite national parks since my pass was still valid. Since I'm pregnant and needing to go to the restroom every half hour we thought hiking through these park would not be the best :(
So we had a nice, quiet, just the three of us Christmas. It was also the 15th anniversary of when Matt proposed to me...wow 15 years already! As I reflect back on 2011 God has truly blessed our family! Never did I think I would ever get pregnant again and that miracle there continues to prove that God is listening and will answer in His time. We have grown closer as a family and have a deeper understanding of who God's love for us and who He really is in our lives. I definitely want to know Him more this 2012.
There are so many things to look forward to this new year. Baby Z will be with us in April and Matt and I hope to purchase our first home.
Thank you Lord for the the trials and the blessings in our life.
